If you have come to this page, you are seeking an answer to a question God has placed in your heart. When you find yourself on this page (and you will!) and you know that God is speaking to your heart, pray the prayer that is found there. You will find your 'priceless' answer. Salvation Man was created good and upright, for God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (Genesis 1:26). However, man, by voluntary transgression, fell and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. Because we are the descendants of Adam we share in that sin. (Genesis 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, because the penalty for sin is death since God is an altogether Holy God. Jesus substituted His life for our life so that we would not have to pay the penalty for sin. Salvation is made available to man only by the grace of God and can only be received through by faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The initial steps of salvation are (1) the willing personal acceptance of the Lordship and Kingship of Jesus Christ, (2) believing with the heart the Jesus died and was resurrected for our sins, and (3) coming to God in repentance for the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir and a son of God and has the glorioius hope of eternal life (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7). If you have never asked Jesus Christ to be the Lord, King, and Savior of your Life, or if you once did but you are not living for him as you should, you can make it right by praying this prayer - it will be the best decision you ever made: Dear God in Heaven, I am asking you to make yourself real to me. I am willing to trust You enough to ask you to be my King, my Lord, my Savior. I forsake my old form of life and ask for You to give me a new life in Jesus Christ. I believe with all my heart and say it with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and that He died for me, but was raised from the dead so that I can have eternal life. I believe that I am now a child of God, that you have erased my sin and have given me a new, eternal life. I thank you and I praise you in Jesus' Name. Amen. The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16) - you know that you know that your sin is gone, that you are going to heaven, and that you are saved. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24; Titus 2:12).
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts, and the use of the gifts in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 1:8, I Corinthians 12:1-31).This experience is distinct from and either co-incident with or subsequent to the experience of the New Birth (Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9). With the baptism in the Holy Ghost comes primarily an intense personal awareness of the reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his in-dwelling presence in the believers life (John 14:16-20). Other experiences include an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39; Acts 1:8), a deepened reverence for God (Acts 2:43; Hebrews 12:28), an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work (Acts 2:42), and a more active love for Christ, for His Word, and for the lost (Mark 16:20). The baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues (languages not known by the speaker) as the Spirit of God gives them utterance (Acts 2:4; 10:45,46; 19:6). The speaking in tongues in this instance is the same in essence as the gift of tongues (I Corinthians 12:4-12, 28), but is different in purpose and use. If you have never been baptized in the Spirit, or you once were and have not been actively flowing in this gift, you can receive this precious gift simply by asking in this prayer: Dear Jesus, You are the one who baptizes in the Holy Spirit I believe your Word and I desire that you baptize me now. By faith I expect to speak fluently in a language I do not know and I expect to have an intensified spiritual awareness of your powerful resurrection power in my life. I release faith to you in saying 'Baptize me in the Holy Spirit'. Amen Now let the warmth that is flowing in the middle of your being begin to flow upward to your mouth as you praise God and begin to speak in an unknown language. Church The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of "the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven" (Hebrews 12:23; see Ephesians 1:22, 23; 2:22). You need to be part of a good local church - NOW! The Word of God The word of God is our only source of truth for believers. As a new believer, you need to develop a regular patter of reading and studying the word of God. If you have a Bible, begin with the book of Mark on the New Testament. If you do not have a Bible, please contact the ministry and we will send you one free of charge! Please let us know about your experience here in the priceless page. You can sign our GUEST BOOK and then leave a note in the comments block. We have some materials we want to send you - free of charge. God bless you in your new, 'priceless' life.
