Prophets Dr. Alan and Sarah Gordon
Dr. Alan and Sarah Gordon are the founders of Arise, Shine! Ministries. Their cummulative ministry consists of many years of experience as prophets, evangelists, and pastors, with the majority of that experience gained overseas in Latin America. Dr. Gordon holds several degrees, including Phd's in Computer Science and Theology, and is the author of many teaching/preaching series on the New Testament.
One of the primary activities of Dr. Alan and Sarah Gordon over the past years has been the building up of existing local church bodies by area-wide crusade evangelism. Extensive work has been done in the countries of Costa Rica and Panama, where area-wide crusades were conducted in a number of smaller rural communities, that seldom had experienced large-scale crusades with powerful signs and wonders following the dynamic preaching of the Gospel. These powerful crusades were filled with salvations, miracles, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, and restorations of families.
Prophets Alan and Sarah Gordon normally precede the opening of the crusade with several visits to the participating churches in the rural area. Through preaching meetings in these local churches, the pastors and the people became familiar with and gain confidence in the Gordon’s ministry. As their faith grew in anticipation of the area-wide crusade, the spiritual climate in the area would be prepared. As a result of this type of unusual ministry, the Gordons have been able to touch thousands of lives in hundreds of churches.After many years of overseas field ministry, Dr. Alan and Sarah are continuing their ministry based in the US and are actively involved in ministries in three continents.
Dr. Alan and Sister Sarah have built a mission-hearted ministry that supports missionary activities on four continents and is in covenant partnership with other ministries that reach the four corners of the globe. Our slogan - ‘Beaming forth the Light of the Gospel of Glory’ - means we are beaming it all over the world!
